HSL “Mary G”

HSL “Mary G”

Her present owner, while Mary G  was languishing in a Phuket Boatyard in need of considerable repair, bought her, fixed the hull sufficiently to float and tow her to a more convenient workplace for a 12 month total rebuild.  The ‘Golden Age’ of Sailing started in the mid-nineteenth century and lasted until the early part of the twentieth. Designed as a High Speed Launch (HSL) in the early 1930’s, these Yachts served in both the British Royal Navy and Airforce during and after the Second World War.
